Jade Moon Tai Chi

Yang Style Taijiquan

The Jade Moon Tai Chi class has been established for over twenty years and meets every Wednesday night at 7.30pm at Fearon Hall in Loughborough. We primarily practice the Yang Long Form as taught by Yang Zhenduo. However we also practice the martial application of the Tai Chi form along with pushing hands forms (tui shou), chi gung (Qigong) and often incorporate elements of other martial arts such as Chen Style Tai Chi and Baguazhang into our classes.

Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is today practised around the world by millions of people, as a health-promoting exercise. We provide a relaxed, friendly and unpressured environment, for people of all ages and abilities to learn and benefit from this ancient Chinese art. Classes are generally fairly informal with the agenda being set by the number and ability of the students who have turned up on that evening.

The class costs 3 per session and is entirely non profit making. The instructors teach for the love of Tai Chi and to pass on their knowledge of this wonderful practice.
